Giving options

The Central Catholic Fund (unrestricted)

While the centerpiece of Central Catholic’s outstanding college preparatory programs is our signature curriculum in religious studies, mathematics, science, and the humanities – our commitment to excellence also embraces the fine and performing arts, athletics, and an array of extracurricular programs. These programs engage the interest of our students and expand the horizons of their learning. Budget cuts have forced many high schools to curtail or completely drop programs like these. Thanks to the unrestricted revenue generated by The Central Catholic Fund, Central Catholic sustains and continues to grow these programs. Your gift is a valuable investment in the excellence of our students’ total education experience.

Fulfilling the Promise

Through our innovative and comprehensive financial aid and outreach program, Central Catholic awards over $2 million each year in tuition assistance. In this way, we continue to fulfill our promise to serve the least favored – a mission we receive from the Marist Brothers which has been integral to Central Catholic since our founding in 1935. Fulfilling the Promise partially funds this enormous and challenging commitment. By matching your generosity with a qualified student’s verified need, your support helps us renew this promise year after year.

Endowment Fund

The Central Catholic Endowment plays a critical role in providing financial support to students in need of tuition assistance. Because the interest is used and the principal remains, named endowed funds become a permanent part of the school and provide support in perpetuity. Endowed gifts are meaningful tributes and treasured resources to the students that benefit.

Montagne Scholars

Central Catholic, with its Montagne Scholars, enrolls and maintains educationally and economically disadvantaged, inner city students, providing maximum amounts of financial assistance as well as ongoing academic and social support. Without the financial support provided through the Montagne Scholars program, none of these students would have the opportunity to benefit from a Central Catholic education.

Academic Programs

Central Catholic scholars follow various academic paths to success, consistently seeking greater challenges in order to reach their true potential.

With a rigorous curriculum, dynamic electives, and an array of advanced placement and college-level opportunities, it’s no surprise that 100% of Central Catholic graduates are accepted to college.

Athletics

Raider Athletics represents a proud tradition of teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence that permeates all aspects of Central Catholic life. More than half of our student body competes on at least one team – and when they’re not on the field, students are part of the “Red Sea” of Central Catholic school spirit that proudly swells at every event, home and away.

Student Activities

Central Catholic’s many clubs & activities provide the chance to develop a life-long interest while forging life-long friendships. Central Catholic students are encouraged to get involved with any of the clubs and activities and to even start their own so they may fully embrace being part of the community as a Central Catholic Raider!

Fine and Performing Arts (art, band, chorus & theater)

Central Catholic students expand and exhibit their talents in an arts program that is broad and flexible enough to inspire unlimited self-expression – and their passion and skills are reflected in their one-of-a-kind personal creations.
